Pashinyan Expected to Resign Tomorrow in Bid to Hold Parliamentary Elections in December
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is expected to tender his resignation tomorrow in order to set the groundwork for snap parliamentary elections in the country.
Arman Yeghoyan, Pashinyan’s spokesman, told Hetq that the prime minister would announce his resignation at tomorrow’s cabinet session.
Pashinyan has pushed for parliamentary elections this December, in opposition to the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) and ARF, who want to postpone elections until June of next year.
