Lusineh Ashughyan, who claims she was illegally dismissed from her teaching job at the Vanadzor Pedagogical Institute, will be taking her case to the RA Court of Cassation.

Her demand that she be reinstated at the school and paid for a mandatory leave of absence has already been rejected by a lower court, and now, the Court of Appeals.

Ashughyan has been waging a fight in the courts for the past five months and says that she has come to the unfortunate conclusion that the rule of law doesn’t operate in Armenia.
