
Joint Issue Stamps Put into Circulation
Today in Yerevan a stamp and a souvenir-sheet, issued by "Haypost" CJSC, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the foundation of Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communication (RCC) were cancelled and put into circulation, within the framework of the 44th session of the heads of Communication Administrations of Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communication.
At the same time, Armenia-Russia and Armenia-Belarus joint issue stamps were cancelled and put into circulation, 2 stamps for each issue.
The official ceremony of cancellation was executed by RA Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan, Chairman of the RCC Board of Administrations' Heads, Minister of Telecommunications of the Russia Igor Schogolev and Minister of Communication and Informatization of Belarus Nikolay Panteley.
The stamp dedicated to the 20th anniversary of RCC depicts RCC symbolism. Its nominal value is 200 AMD. Its print run is 40.000 items.
The stamps of Armenia-Russia joint issue depict Hovhannes Tumanyan and Valeri Bryusov. Their nominal values are 120 and 230 AMD, their print-run is 27.000 items from each one.
The stamps of Armenia-Belarus joint issue depict the building of RA National Gallery and the coat of arms of Yerevan, the City Gates of Minsk and the coat of arms of Minsk. The nominal value of each one is 200 AMD, the print-run is 21.000 items from each one.
"Haypost" CJSC PR Department reports that all these joint issue stamps have been printed in Lowe Martin Group Printing house (Canada).
