Executive Board of Republican Party to Meet; Major Changes not Expected
This evening President Serzh Sargsyan will chair meeting of the executive board of the HHK (Republican Party of Armenia). It is assumed that they will discuss the new make-up of the government.
Our sources say that major changes are not in the works and that most current ministers will remain at their posts.
On the regional level, only two Regional Governor posts are now vacant.
After the BHK (Prosperous Armenia) declared that it wouldn’t be entering into a governing coalition, Regional Governors Sergey Bagratyan (Gegharkuniq) and Nver Pohghosyan (Vayots Dzor) resigned.
Our sources in the Republican Party say they will be replaced by their party members.
