Restored Rose Garden to Open at Botanical Gardens
Opening ceremonies for a restored rose garden belonging to the Academy of Sciences at the Botanical Gardens will take place tomorrow. The project was financed to the tune of 6,000 Euros by the Swiss Embassy in Armenia.
The site will contain 20 new sorts of roses and over 1,000 other plantings. The original garden suffered greatly due to the energy crisis in Armenia in the 1990s.
