No End in Sight for Akori School Squabble
The internal school squabble in the village of Akori, leading to a walk out of teachers last December, has no end in sight.
Teachers still refuse to accept the findings of the school board regarding election results for principal. The staff seems dead set against Anahit Mousayelyan, who won the election and claim the voting was rigged in favour of the mayor’s favourite candidate.
Since January 26, teachers haven’t been reported back to class after the lunch break.
Talks between Principal Mousayelyan and the teachers have broken down.
