
Armenian Military Airplane Crashes; Two Pilots Killed
An Armenian military airplane crashed today in a mountainous region near the town the Shirak town of Maralik.
Armenian Ministry of Defense spokesman Artzrun Hovhannisyan reports that the two pilots, Colonel Armen Babayan and Major Movese Manukyan, were killed in the crash.
Earlier today, the ministry reported that it had lost communication with the airplane that's used for training missions.
The plane's flight recorder has been found and an investigation launched.
