
Yerevan Municipality Spends $214,000 on Flags
The Yerevan Municipality has spent AMD103.634 ($214,000) for flags and related services in 2017 and 2018.
Here are some of those expenditures:
It paid 14.6 million drams to a company called Inter Partner Ltd. for 5,000 Armenian flags in February last year.
It paid 7.850 million drams to Alfa Trade Ltd. in March of 2017 for 3,500 flags with the Erebuni-Yerevan symbol to mark holiday of the same name.
It paid 7.990 million drams on February of 2017 to Inter Partner Ltd. for 3,500 flags with the Yerevan symbol.
Last month, the municipality paid 14.650 million drams to Inter Print Ltd. for 5,000 national flags.
The municipality has also spent great amounts to remove the flags from city streets and venues once no longer needed.
This past February, it paid 9.995 million drams to a company called Dzevavorum CJSC to replace, clean and maintain 6,468 flag pedestals.
Another contract with Dzevavorum, this time for 24.933 million drams, was signed on January 24 of this year.
