Artur Sargsyan's Family Asks for Autopsy Postponement; They Want Outside Specialists Present
Tigran Yegoryan, attorney for the family of Artur Sargsyan (the ‘bringer of bread’) says he has asked that the autopsy of Sargsyan, who died in a Yerevan hospital on March 16, be delayed a few days so that independent outside specialists can take part.
Yegoryan told Hetq that he’s presented a list of specialists to Armenia’s Investigative Committee (IC), requesting that at least two be present at the autopsy.
The IC has agreed to the participation of outside specialists as requested by Sargsyan’s family.
The IC, in a statement released yesterday, says it’s checking the credentials of the specialists.
