
Alek Yenikomshian Released from Pretrial Detention
Founding Parliament member Alek Yenikomshian has been released from pretrial detention.
The news was relayed to Hetq by Yenikomshian’s lawyer Nikolai Baghdasaryan.
Upon leaving the Armavir Correctional Facility, Yenikomshian was met by his sister and taken home.
Earlier today, a state prosecutor looking into the pretrial detention of opposition activist Alek Yenikomshian, charged with illegally trafficking and possessing arms and seizing a police building, issued a release decree arguing that Yenikomshian is not a flight risk.
