Yerevan: Criminal Charges For Cops Who Injured Reporters
Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO) has urged news outlets to provide evidence (photos, video) that police used violence against reporters last night when tear gas and percussion grenades were used to disperse crowds that had gathered outside a security cordon surrounding the police building seized two weeks ago by the armed group Sasna Dzrer.
The PGO says that the material evidence will be used to bring criminal charges against those responsible for injuring members of the press and damaging their equipment.
