Four opposition parties in Armenia’s National Assembly today stated that the government’s revised bill regarding the pension system has not addressed their concerns.

After a closed door meeting of representatives from the Heritage, Prosperous Armenia, Armenian National Congress and ARF parliamentary factions, Heritage MP Rouben Hakobyan told reporters that their previous concerns remain and that the four factions, in concert, would be making a set of counter proposals.

Hakobyan said that if the government accepted the suggestions, the matter would be resolved.

Otherwise, he said, the four would decide on what to do next.
