Today, the Criminal Appeals Court rejected the suit brought by Anna Pamboukhchyan seeking to overturn the decision by the Erebuni and Nubarashen District Court regarding her claim that Sonya Tovmasyan, the sister of her deceased husband, has illegally taken over possession of real estate located in Nor Aresh.
The investigations division of the lower court had initiated a criminal proceeding on the charge of "forging documents". The case was dropped seven months later by the prosecutor due to a lack of "corpus deliciti".
Ms. Pamboukhchyan disputed the decision of the prosecutor in the Erebuni Court but the case was thrown out. She then took her case to the Appeals Court which today also threw out her claim.
