A Georgian news outlet reports that police found a small cache of arms and ammunition on a house rooftop in the Akhalkalak region.

When Hetq reached Akhalkalak Police Chief Khachatur Mosoyan by phone, he refused to speak to us, saying that he legally bound not to speak to reporters and advised us to contact the police press office for an official response.

A criminal investigation has been launched.
