Yerevan Transit Activists Give Mayor 7 More Days...Or Else
Activists staging a sit-in outside the Yerevan Municipality demanding the resignation of two officials involved in this summer’s transit fare hikes, have now declared that they will only wait another seven days before taking more “severe” measures.
As a result of widespread protests at the time, the Municipality temporarily suspended the 50 Dram fare hike.
The sit down has been going on for the past three months.
