
Armenia's Human Rights Defender to Visit Jailed Armenian Truck Driver in Moscow
Armenia’s Human Rights Defender Karen Andreasyan will leave for Moscow on July 21 on a working visit, and it is expected that he will visit Hrachya Haroutyunyan, the Armenian truck driver now being held in a Moscow jail on charges of negligent homicide.
Andreasyan will also meet with Haroutyunyan’s lawyers and members of the Armenian community of Moscow.
The dump truck Haroutyunyan was driving struck a bus, resulting in the death of 18 and scores of wounded.
