
Armenian Security Chief, NATO Official Discuss South Caucasus Security Situation
Armenian Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan and Geoffrey van Leeuwen, Director of the Private Office of the NATO Secretary General, met today in Brussels and discussed the security situation in the South Caucasus and the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
Leeuwen, according to Grigoryan’s office, welcomed the completion of negotiations on the draft peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and highlighted the efforts aimed at signing the treaty.
The two also discussed Armenia-NATO relations and prospects for greater cooperation.
