Swedish journalist Rasmus Canbäck studies the situation in the South Caucasus.

Since the 2020 Artsakh war, he's written about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and has investigated Azerbaijan’s “caviar diplomacy” in Sweden.

In 2023, Canbäck published a book titled I Die Slowly Every Day. It's about post-war Artsakh and was written following his 2021 journey there. The first edition was in Swedish. A second edition was published in English in 2024, with additional chapters covering Azerbaijan’s 2023 offensive and the forced displacement of Artsakh Armenians.
