Armenia to Have Defense Attaché in EU, Belgium
The Armenian government today approved a decision to have a defense attaché in the European Union, as well as in Belgium, on a concurrent basis, given Armenia’s expanding cooperation with Belgium and the European Union in the defense, security, and military spheres.
Armenia’s Defense Ministry believes that having a defense attaché in the EU and Belgium will provide an opportunity to present Armenia’s military, military-political priorities, as well as to cooperate with the Belgian Ministry of Defense and military-industrial companies.
The defense attaché in Belgium and the EU will coordinate military and defense cooperation with international organizations and will represent Armenia’s Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces.
