The defense ministers of Armenia and China met today in Beijing and discussed international and regional matters.

The parties, according to Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan’s office, expressed their readiness to expand relations between the two countries, including defense cooperation.

The Chinese Defense Ministry website has no statement on the meeting.

Papikyan is in China on a working visit.
