Yerevan Rallygoers Oppose Border Deal

Thousands gathered in Yerevan’s Republic Square today to hear the message of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of a protest movement opposing the Armenian government’s handover of Tavush Province border land to Azerbaijan.

Today’s rally followed a protest march Galstanyan began in the province of Tavush on May 4 that reached Yerevan today.

If those gathered in Yerevan today are able to demonstrate,its because the premier minister is comprehensive. To remind your audience,the main goal was not to take over Artsakh,it was to take over the south of Armenia. We are very close to have a true independant open border country with a great history looking in the horizon instead of feeling like martyrs all the time.The futur of Armenia is in front of us,i stand with Nikol Pashinian.
