Fuel Depot Explodes in Karabakh, Seriously Injuring More Than 200
A fuel warehouse exploded in Karabakh today seriously injuring more than two hundred people, reports Artsakh Human Rights Defender Gegham Stepanyan.
Stepanyan reports work is underway to transport the wounded to Armenia via helicopter and vehicles since local medical facilities are inadequate to treat them.
He adds that bad weather and the fact that it's nighttime have hindered such evacuations.
“Armenia's specialists, burn specialists and resuscitators, are in constant contact with Stepanakert medics. They are providing advisory support in the organization of medical aid for the explosion victims,” Stepanyan writes.
