Here's the preliminary results of yesterday’s election for Yerevan Municipal Council.

None of the parties received an outright majority.

Civil Contract - 75,463 votes (32.57%)

National Progress - 43,765 votes (18.89%)

Mother Armenia  - 35,739 votes (15.43%)

Republic  – 26,236 votes (11.32%)

Public Voice  - 22,431 votes (9.68%)

Land of Living  – 8,425 votes (3.64%)

Bright Armenia – 4,174 votes (1.80%)

Victory – 3,959 votes (1.71%)

Just Armenia – 2,595 votes (1.12%)

European Party of Armenia – 2,572 votes (1.11%)

Democratic Unity – 2,348 votes (1.01%)

Strength of the Homeland  - 1706 votes or 0.74%

United Armenia  – 1,282 votes (0.55%)

For Social Justice - 780 votes (0.34%)

The top five vote getters will get seats in the new council: Civil Contract - 24 seats, National Progress - 14, Mother Armenia – 12, Republic – 8, Public Voice – 7.
