Putin Congratulates Pashinyan on Armenian Independence Day
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan on Armenia's Independence Day.
Putin, according to Pashinyan’s office, sent the following message to the Armenian leader.
"Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of Independence Day, the national holiday of the Republic of Armenia.
We attach great importance to friendly and allied relations with Armenia. It is important that our countries successfully cooperate in various fields, coordinate efforts within the EAEU, CSTO, CIS and other multilateral structures.
I am confident that the further development of constructive bilateral ties is in the fundamental interests of the Russian and Armenian peoples, and the consistent implementation of the tripartite declarations signed in 2020 and 2021 is a good basis for ensuring long-term peace and security in Transcaucasia.
I sincerely wish you good health and success in state activities, and happiness and well-being to all the citizens of fraternal Armenia.”
