While Armenian state agencies debate whether businessman Gagik Tsarukyan can build a huge statue of Jesus Christ atop Mt. Hatis, some thirty kilometers northeast of Yerevan, his charitable foundation has released a video showing what the statue will look like once completed.

On July 11, Tsarukyan said he’d wait to receive all necessary permits before proceeding with any construction.

Evidently, he believes those permits will soon be issued.
