National Self-Determination Union leader Paruyr Hayrikyan told reporters today that the upcoming presidential election in Armenia will change nothing since Serzh Sargsyan, and not the Republican Party, will be in the driver’s seat as a result of the recent parliamentary elections.

Hayrikian stated that even if he were to become president, nothing would change, since power rests in the hands of the parliamentary majority; more specifically, the leader of that party.
