Paris Suburb Holds Armenian Genocide Anniversary Commemoration

A commemoration marking the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide took place on April 2 in the northeastern Paris suburb of Les Lilas.

Les Lilas Mayor Lionel Benharous, Armenian Embassy Second Secretary Tigran Baghdasaryan, French-Armenian ANI association President Aida Assadourian and historian Claude Mutafyan spoke at the event.

Senior officials of the Seine-Saint-Denis Department Council and representatives of the French-Armenian community attended the commemoration.
