
Pashinyan, Putin Discuss Actions of Russian Peacekeepers in Karabakh
Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin today, by telephone, discussed recent developments in Karabakh, including Azerbaijani troop advances across the Line of Contact.
Pashinyan, according to a statement released by his office, raised questions about the actions of the Russian peacekeeper contingent in Karabakh and thanked Putin for agreeing to investigate the matter.
Pashinyan noted that Armenia expects that the peacekeepers will take steps to facilitate a withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from areas under their jurisdiction.
The leaders of the two countries agreed to take measures to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
