Newly appointed Armenian Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan today met with a delegation led by the Head of the Yerevan Office of the Council of Europe Martina Schmidt.

During the meeting, Grigoryan and delegation members discussed sectoral programs implemented by the CoE Office related to the prevention of domestic violence, protection of the rights of women servicemen in the Armenian military, and the adoption of criminal and procedural codes.

Summing up the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to deepen existing cooperation in the mentioned spheres and to cooperate in new directions.
