Yerevan Demonstrators Disparage Pashinyan's "Era of Peace"
Around twenty women gathered outside the Government Building in Yerevan this morning to push back against Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan’s claim that the country is entering an era of peace.
The demonstrators, led by Isabela Sargsyan, pointed out that three Armenian soldiers had been killed in clashes with Azerbaijani troops along the border on Monday.
The demonstrators carried signs reading “CSTO is not only for Kazakhstan”, “Stop the meat grinder”, “The government is obligated to ensure the right to life”, “Solve the issue of our safety or leave”, “Mothers are waiting for their sons”, “No more conscripts to the border”, among others.
