Armenia: Opposition Faction Drafts Minimum Wage Increase Bill

The opposition Hayastan parliamentary faction gas introduced a bill to increase minimum monthly wages in Armenia from 68,00 to 100,000 drams (US$207).

The minimum monthly wage was increased from 55,000 to 68,000 drams in 2019.

The bill must first be passed by the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs.
