Unvaccinated Teachers, Restaurant Workers Must be Tested, Says Armenian Health Minister
Armenian Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan today announced that teachers, restaurant workers and local government officials who refuse to get the Covid-19 vaccination must undergo a PCR test twice monthly.
"We are going to make some changes in the legal regulations so that people who are not vaccinated submit their PCR results twice a month. We are registering a steady increase in positive coronavirus cases,” Avanesyan told reporters.
Avanesyan noted that coronavirus rates are expected to rise before the start of the academic year.
"We will do everything within the law to vaccinate citizens. This is the most effective way to combat COVID-19," the minister said.
