Azerbaijani troops opened fire on Armenian military positions in the Gegharkunik section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border today at around 5:00 pm local time.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that three Armenian servicemen were slightly injured.

The ministry says the incident was preceded by shootings in the Azerbaijani military bases themselves, which may be due to an interpersonal incident between the Azerbaijani military.
