Armenian HRD, AGBU President Discuss Armenian POW Issue
Armenian Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan and AGBU President Berge Setrakian meet in Yerevan today and discussed a number of issues related to the 2020 Karabakh war, including the plight of Armenian POWs and Azerbaijani war crimes.
Tatoyan, according to a statement released by his office, presented the results of the fact-finding mission in Armenia’s Gegharkunik and Syunik provinces, where Azerbaijani troops remain illegally stationed, which confirms the need for a security zone around Syunik.
Tatoyan praised the role of the AGBU, especially in analyzing and raising the issue of Azerbaijani war crimes to the international community.
