Armenian Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan, responding to a video that appeared on social media over the weekend in which soldiers stationed in Kapan complained about their living conditions, told reporters today that the government is taking steps to improve the situation.

The soldiers said they live like pigs and lack the basics.

The soldiers said that they were told to abandon their position near the Azerbaijani border.

"This is work carried out daily. The ministry’s leadership is paying attention to the situation,” Sargsyan told reporters, adding that there can be no question of giving up any military post.
