Armenian Parliament Rejects Opposition Bills on War, Political Crisis
The Armenian National Assembly today voted down two opposition bills that refer to the recent Artsakh war and the post-war period in Armenia.
One of the two Bright Armenia (LHK) bills called for a discussion of the legality of the November 9 ceasefire statement signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The second LHK bill was entitled "On defining an action plan to get Armenia out of the current situation”.
LHK faction leader Edmon Marukyan argued for passage of the bills, saying the political crisis in the country remains and the ruling party has not learnt from its mistakes.
