Artak Beglaryan has resigned from the post of Artsakh Human Rights Defender (HRD) and is scheduled to be appointed to another government job.

"The ombudsman's resignation is conditioned by the offer to transfer to another position in the state system, based on existing challenges and needs,” reads a statement on the HRD’s Facebook page.

Beglaryan will give a press conference tomorrow that will be broadcast live.
