Armenian Government Approves $10 Million Development Plan for Yerevan's Komitas Avenue

The Armenian government today approved a US$10 million investment plan targeting sections of Komitas Avenue in Yerevan.

$1 million will be allocated for the renovation of an existing park.. An amphitheater and a fountain pool will be built. A drip irrigation and a modern lighting system will be installed at the park.

Hayk-88 LLC, the developer, also promises to build an overpass connecting the Arabkir Children’s Park and the park in question.

The renovated park, at 49 Komitas Avenue, will include a child development and IT center.

The developer says the plan will create 250 temporary construction jobs and 300 permanent service jobs.
