Arthur Ghazinyan, Eduard Sharmazanov and Arsen Babayan have been charged under Article 225 of Armenia’s Criminal Code: "Organization of mass disorder, accompanied with violence, pogroms, arson, destruction or damage to property, using fire-arms, explosives or explosive devices, or by armed resistance to the representative of the authorities."

The charges stem from a November 11 rally in Yerevan calling for the resignation of Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan.

Arsen Babayan is a member of the Hayrenik Party. Eduard Sharmazanov is a spokesman for the Republican Party of Armenia. Arthur Ghazinyan is chairman of the Mek Hayastan (One Armenia) Party.
