Armenian Defense Ministry Confirms Death of Two Officers

The Armenian Ministry of Defense reports that Major Garush Hambardzumyan and Captain Sos Elbakyan were fatally wounded by Azerbaijani gunfire in the northeastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.

The ministry’s statement does not specify when they died.

Clashes broke out along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on July 12.
