In the run up to a planned meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington D.C., Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs Zohrab Mnatsakanyan yesterday, in Yerevan, met with OSCE Minsk Group  Co-Chairs Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Stéphane Visconti of France, and Andrew Schofer of the United States of America, in addition to  the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Andrzej Kasprzyk.

According to an Armenian government press release, the parties stressed the importance of the current peaceful phase of negotiations and the vital role played by agreements reached to date.
