GH Storage Employees Want to Get Paid
As we go to press, employees of GH Storage Enterprises, a company owned by diaspora businessman Saro Hartounian, have gathered outside the State Revenue Committee office to demand that the agency lift its freeze on company bank accounts.
The Committee froze the accounts on January 30, 2012 and employees haven’t been paid wages since.
One frustrated employee, Siranoush Shmavonyan, told Hetq that she has a son serving in the army and doesn’t have the money to visit him.
Employees say they will stay put for as long as it takes.
